Our Mission

Underdog Animal Rescue is a volunteer-driven, donor-funded organization dedicated to saving California’s at-risk dogs from overcrowded shelters, owner surrenders, and unnecessary euthanasia. As a foster-based rescue, we provide compassionate care, rehabilitation, and a safe haven for vulnerable and homeless dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and needs—including those with imperfections and special requirements.

Through advocacy and education, we empower our community to create a brighter future for dogs, promoting responsible ownership and reducing shelter overpopulation. Together, we strive to ensure every dog gets the chance to thrive in a loving, permanent home.
